Donna Correale was born and raised in the small town of Kingston in upstate New York. She began her career with IBM in Kingston in 1980, and relocated to Raleigh in 1987. After a 15-year career with IBM as a computer programmer, Donna decided to leave the hi-tech world to begin a new career in bookkeeping.
With her technical background and problem-solving skills, Donna knew she could be as successful with handling financial issues and problems as she was with the more technical programming ones.
In 2004, with several years of bookkeeping experience, Donna decided to form her own company. She chose to call it “Small Business Bookkeeping” because that is what she does. She has built her client base manyfold since then, and loves working with a diverse group of individuals and companies.
Donna enjoys living in her North Raleigh home with her husband, Tony, and spending time with her daughter, Valerie, who is a graduate of NC State University.
